The twin tub is the more common variety of the semi-automatic washing machine. Where you’ll find two tubs located next to each other – one used for washing and the other for spin drying. This requires you to move the clothes from one tub to the other during the washing procedure.

To put it simply, a twintub is easier to use, and does not require a high water pressure to work.

Wiping Down the Tubs. Drain the water from the washing tub as soon as you’re done using it. Connect the hose to the bottom the machine and position the other end of the hose in sink or a bucket. Turn the dial on the washing tub to “Drain” to let all of the water drain out easily.

Washing machines are energy saving in both the senses that it saves a lot of manual energy . That would have otherwise gone into washing the clothes as well as the electrical energy that it consumes.
