Product Description

A procedural mask is intended to prevent the release of potential contaminants from the user into their immediate environment which can also protect the wearer from large droplets, sprays and splashes of bodily fluids. It is easily identifiable by the presence of two ear loops to secure the mask to the face for quick donning.

Procedure masks are not surgical mask and are used on hospital floors, isolation units, and labor and delivery units, among other areas of the hospital for generally “respiratory etiquette” to prevent clinicians, patients and visitors from spreading germs by talking, coughing, or sneezing.^1,2 These masks may also be used in the emergency department and the intensive care unit. However, they are non-sterile and designed for clean environments which not suitable for use in the operating room.¹ Surgical masks are required in this case which are designed for sterile environments.

Our disposable procedural face masks contain 3 layers: an inner soft absorbent non-woven fabric, a middle melt-blown material that acts as a filter and an outer hydrophobic non-woven fabric; and they are manufactured in accordance with both standards of “Daily Protective Mask” (GB/T 32610-2016) and “Disposable Medical Mask” (YY/T 0969-2013) to provide a better protection. The particle filtration efficiency (PFE) is ≥90% (GB/T 32610-2016) and the bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) is ≥95% (YY/T 0969-2013 and YY 0469-2011). They provide physical barrier that protects both wearers and others from the transfer of respiratory secretions, fluids or other debris and avoid the contamination of bacteria or viruses present in mucus and saliva. However, please note our disposable masks are NOT surgical masks and NOT for medical use. These are designed for general uses. For front-line health professionals, please follow the guidelines from CDC and FDA and get the correct PPE to protect yourselves.

3 layers

Our 3-ply face masks have a multi-ply design to better prevent inhalation of non-oily airborne pollutants. The blue outer layer and white inner layer are made out of non-woven materials, with a polypropylene filtration layer in the middle. The non-woven layers are designed to provide a comfortable fit, with the protective melt-blown middle layer serving as the barrier.

Bacteria filter efficiency (BFE)

With the standard BFE being met, our masks effectively resist bacterial penetration with a rating of at least 95%. You can go about your day, knowing you are practically perfectly protected from the air pollutants around you.

100% compliant with regulations (CE, GB/T 32610-2016)

Our daily protective masks are 100% CE certified. They are also in accordance with the Chinese standard GB/T 32610-2016. Please note that if you need reassurance regarding the certification of our products, we are willing to send you the copies of the relevant documents upon request!

High breathability

The soft lightweight material of the masks makes them perfect for everyday use. The breathing resistance is low, and the light and soft material of the inner layer was specifically designed to make your mask-wearing more comfortable.

Disposable

In order for masks to effectively protect you from the pollutants you should wear it for a maximum of four to five hours. Please do not share your 3-ply face mask with other people. If your mask becomes damaged or dirty, throw it away. Please follow the WHO guidelines for correctly putting the mask on and off.
